About Us
PreSense is a pioneering eMagazine, founded in March 2006 on the advice of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, with the mission of promoting positive journalism. The magazine was established by K. Srinivasan, fondly known in the digital world as "Prime Point Srinivasan."
PreSense has published 211 editions to date, with the latest issue released in September 2024. The magazine is entirely digital, reaching readers through social media, email, and WhatsApp. It is free of advertisements, staying true to its principle of offering insightful and unbiased content.
A unique feature of PreSense is its cartoon mascot, "Prince," which was introduced by Dr. Kalam in 2008 and continues to deliver messages through cartoons in every edition.
Published by the Chennai-based NGO Prime Point Foundation (founded by K. Srinivasan in 1999), PreSense is one of the foundation's five key initiatives, alongside the Sansad Ratna Awards, NextGen Political Leaders, the Digital Journalists Association of India, and the Education Loan Task Force.
Since 2009, PreSense and Prime Point Foundation have been honoring top-performing Indian Parliamentarians with the prestigious "Sansad Ratna Awards." Additionally, the magazine compiles its editorials and cover stories each year into eBooks. Over 40 eBooks have been published so far, making valuable insights easily accessible to readers.
PreSense operates without commercial advertisements and is distributed freely in digital form. The editorial board comprises a team of dedicated professionals who voluntarily contribute their expertise, with many eminent figures from various fields associated with the magazine.
